Launch your UMass Amherst journey at the Charles River Campus
Career Launch is a first-year fall semester program for admitted UMass Amherst students that provides a head start on career exploration in Greater Boston.
During their first semester, students complete courses that fulfill general education requirements, explore how to connect their education to career opportunities, participate in employer-sponsored projects, and develop core skills sought by employers.
Students transition to the Amherst campus in the Spring with a strong foundation for academic and professional success and meaningful connections with peers, advisors, and alumni.
