Herter Art Gallery is pleased to present, Forecast, a solo exhibition by Shona Macdonald, Professor in the Department of Art at the University of Massachusetts.
The Art Department is honored to welcome Qais Assali on campus. Qais Assali is an
interdisciplinary artist/designer born in Palestine in 1987 and raised in the UAE before returning
to Palestine in 2000.
Join us for opportunity to meet faculty, ask questions, join an info session with the Undergraduate Program Director, and take a tour of the department facilities, galleries, and studios. This year, faculty and staff will lead tours starting at Studio Arts Building then visiting Herter Gallery and the Bromery Center before ending in front of the University Museum of Contemporary Art.
Steven’s animations are condensed and poetic. Through an experimental and iterative process of making and editing, he explores resonances found in subjects as diverse as history, science, evolution, and religion.
