SAB Woodshop

The Woodshop is equipped with a full complement of woodworking tools, including general equipment as well as fine woodworking tools. Many students use the Woodshop to build sculptural work, fixtures, canvas stretchers, crates, and a host of other creative projects.

The Woodshop also has a digital fabrication lab with a lasercutter and a CNC router. These tools work with a variety of materials, including paper, some plastics, rubbers, foam, etc.

The Woodshop technician conducts equipment safety training for any student in the art department who would like to use the shop for their projects. Simply contact the technician (email below) to schedule a training session.
