Tomaskovic-Devey & Mendoza Discuss Gender Pay Gaps in New Paper

Donald Tomaskovic-Devey, sociology, and Matthew Mendoza, a PhD student in sociology, are two of the co-authors of an article on gender pay gaps in Socius: Sociological Research for a Dynamic World. Based on IRS, Social Security, and Census records from 2005 to 2015, they found "little decline in firm- or job-level gender pay gaps after 2009," indicating more strategies are needed to target disparities.
