Gerald Epstein, economics and PERI, has authored a new book, Busting the Bankers' Club: Finance for the Rest of Us. Drawing from decades of research on the history, economics, and politics of banking, Epstein argues that any meaningful reform will require breaking up the club of politicians, economists, lawyers, and CEOs who sustain the status quo.

"[The book is] written not only to help inform the public about our current financial systems, but also to motivate them to try to help make it better," says Epstein.

In recent days, Epstein has made a number of media appearances to discuss the book, including a podcast, Q&A session, and interview
