Arin Dube, economics, discussed his most recent research on the U.S. labor market with Nick Hanauer, host of the podcast Pitchfork Economics. Dube shared that evidence indicates that inequality in wages, which expanded between 1980 and 2019, is finally turning around. His research indicates that wages in the country are grown, especially for those considered low income. "What we're seeing is workers are leaving the worst paying jobs," notes Dube.
