About
Dr. Mark Hamin attended Brown University and received a dual degree in History and Philosophy. Mark then received his PhD in History and Sociology and Science from the University of Pennsylvania. His teaching experience includes teaching History of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as teaching community and development planning at Iowa State University as well as the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Mark Hamin has been with the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning at the University of Massachusetts for over 20 years teaching methods of planning and has acted as both a program director for the planning side of the department, as well as a critic for design work for landscape architecture design studios.
