Shota Momma holds a Ph. D. in linguistics from the University of Maryland, a B.S. in psychology, and a B.A. in linguistics from the University of Washington, Seattle, and an Associate of Arts from Pierce College, Fort Steilacoom. He specializes in psycholinguistics, syntax, and the intersection between the two. His current research focuses on how people assemble sentence structures for speaking comparing English and his native language, Japanese. He teaches psycholinguistics courses, research methods/statistics courses, and occasionally syntax courses.
