Join the HFA Student Leadership Group (SLG) for our Spring 2025 Field Trip to New York City on Saturday April 26, 2025 (7:15 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.) for only $20!

Please note, we are prioritizing HFA Majors who have never attended this trip before.

• All UMass Amherst students are invited to complete the interest form to get on the Wait List, but priority is given to HFA Majors (who have not yet attended an SLG Field Trip).
• HFA Majors who have already attended a previous SLG Field Trip, HFA Minors, and students from other Colleges who are interested in attending the Field Trip can get on the Wait List beginning Mon., April 7 at 11am by completing this Google Form.

If you’re an HFA Major who has never been on the Field Trip before, you can sign up by completing your forms and pay $20 in cash at the Field Trip table on the South College Commons during our tabling hours the week of April 7th:

Mon. (4/7) 11am-4pm 

Tue. (4/8) 11am-4pm 

Wed. (4/9) 11am-4pm 

Fri. (4/11) 11am-4pm 

The HFA Student Leadership Group (SLG) is an active student-led group of undergraduate students whose mission is to foster a sense of community within the college and university by organizing fun HFA-inspired events and projects that enable passionate students to explore and experience the Humanities and Fine Arts together outside of the classroom while meeting others and gaining leadership experiences for your resume!

All students are welcome to engage in the planning of these projects and events, including:

• Publishing “The Scribe,” HFA’s student-run literary and arts publication
• Organizing the HFA Creative Student Showcase
• Running Field Trips to New York City (for HFA students) for only $20.00
• Planning other types of special events centered around the humanities and fine arts
