Transforming Your Research Into Teaching

Design a course based on your research specialty, to teach now or in the future! As part of the CIRTL Network, UMass is offering this summer series, open to all grad students and postdocs. In this 7-week course, you will learn and practice course design fundamentals and effective teaching strategies, and create a syllabus for a specific course you can teach in the immediate or distant future. The format includes short video lectures to watch in preparation for the weekly meetings with the local UMass learning community, with an option to participate in peer feedback.

Organizational meeting: Friday, June 13th - 11:00am (online). Weekly meetings from June 16th - August 1st - day & time TBD.
