Three Minute Thesis Info Session

Content

Do you want to improve your ability to talk about your research with non-experts? Join UMass's Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition! This popular event challenges graduate students to communicate the significance of their research to a general audience, all in three minutes or less, with generous prize money available. Plus, it’s fun! This 3MT Info Session will outline competition rules, offer strategies to prepare your presentation, and share tips for getting comfortable with public speaking. All participants in the 2027 3MT must attend an Info Session.

3MT events are open to all current UMass graduate students. Register here!
