Enrollment and Degree Verifications

Students

Current and former students (both undergraduate and graduate) can request their enrollment verification through SPIRE. Once logged into SPIRE, please click on the Academics tile, expand the Forms & Academic Requests section in the side menu bar, and select Enrollment Verification.

To view an unofficial enrollment verification, please click on the View Unofficial Report option and follow the on-screen instructions.

To request an official enrollment verification, please click on the Request Official Report option. Options for delivery are in-office pickup, mail delivery, fax and email. Please choose the preferred delivery option and follow the on-screen instructions to submit your request.

Note: An official enrollment verification will be printed on UMass letterhead and will include the University Registrar’s signature and the University Registrar’s seal.

Alumni and former students: If you don’t know your SPIRE ID or Password, use these instructions (Alumni, Inactive Students section) to retrieve your credentials. If you have any questions about obtaining the “SPIRE Logon Essentials” don’t hesitate to call IT Help Center at 413-545-9400 or email IT [at] Umass [dot] edu (IT[at]Umass[dot]edu).
