4+1 Master of Science in Statistics

Within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, you may choose to concentrate your studies in statistics through the master of science or doctoral degrees. The MS provides you with training in statistical applications, statistical computing, and theory, preparing you for jobs in industry or government, or for moving on to a PhD in statistics or biostatistics. The PhD option provides a combination of theory and application preparing you for positions in academia, industry, or government.
