Students can major in psychology in two different ways, earning either BA or BS, with additional concentrations and specializations available to suit your interests.  Major requirements for the BA and BS are identical, but they differ based on college level requirements for the College of Natural Sciences.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) is suitable for students interested in general psychology and taking a foreign language.

Bachelor of Science (BS): is a good option for students interested in taking additional psychology or science classes and not a foreign language. Students must take 60 credits in the College of Natural Sciences, which includes all Psychology classes taken for the major (this usually means an additional 3 classes for Psych majors).

Specialized Programs  The department also offers additional specializations including Honors and Disabilities
