The College of Engineering is seeking JYW Lecturers

The Junior Year Writing Program (JYW) of the College of Engineering is in immediate need of lecturers. There are currently three sections available for the Fall and Spring semesters and the workload can be split among more than one instructor if need be.  The classes are capped at 24 students each and there is a common syllabus that can be modified to fit an instructor’s personal strengths.  Experience teaching writing at the university level is required; experience with JYW is preferred.  The pay is competitive, and benefits are provided.  Please contact Dr. Scott Civjan at civjan [at] umass [dot] edu (civjan[at]umass[dot]edu) ASAP.
