Plant Biology

Conduct research into pressing biological questions regarding plants from the microscopic to the landscape level. The plant biology graduate program at UMass Amherst grants candidates the opportunity to conduct interdisciplinary research in one of four research areas: cell and developmental biology, evolution and ecology, genomics and genetics, and plant environment interactions.
