The master of science in applied molecular biotechnology is a one-year program specifically designed to prepare you for a career in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, or for advanced graduate studies. You’ll combine traditional lecture-based courses with an intensive laboratory course (over 50 percent of the degree requirement) to train in the latest techniques and concepts of molecular biology and biochemistry, as well as to gain in-demand skills and hands-on experience through independent research projects and opportunities for biotech internships. More than 90 percent of our graduates are offered an internship or full-time job at the end of their second semester.
