NOTE: New Supply Closet Requests are on hold until after Spring Break. Thank you for your patience. We received 350 requests in ten days. It will take us some time to fulfil the requests that we have. We will reopen the request form as soon as possible. 

 

The Student Care Supply Closet provides free toiletries/personal care items and household items to help offset the cost for other basic needs to students who are facing basic needs insecurity and/or an unexpected financial emergency. Any currently enrolled student is eligible to use this resource.

  • Due to an increased demand in this program, students are eligible to receive supplies once during the semester.

  • While we do our best to fill orders with the specific items requested, we cannot guarantee the availability of items, nor can we guarantee the specific brand of any items. Staff reserve the right to omit items as necessary or substitute them when able.

  • While we stock many items, we are not able to provide trash bags, razors, alcohol (such as isopropyl alcohol), laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, bleach, or food items.

Requesting your Items:
The Supply Closet is now open and accepting new requests for the Spring 2025 semester.

We ask students to read the instructions they receive via email carefully. Due to an increased demand, the Student Care Supply Closet has amended its policies to only allow for one pick-up per student per semester.

When you receive the link to schedule an appointment, please DO NOT SHARE THIS LINK as we will cancel any appointments for individuals that we have not communicated with directly; requests are filled on a first-come first-serve basis. 

We will reopen the request form after Spring Break.

Picking up your Items:

  • Students must schedule a pickup within two weeks of receiving a confirmation email and follow instructions to make an appointment.

  • Students are given two attempts to pick up their items at the scheduled appointment time. Outside of extenuating circumstances, students that do not pick-up after two weeks will have their request cancelled.

  • Students will check-in in Whitmore Administration Building Room 231 (the Dean of Students Office, Supply Closet) and need to present their UCard to the staff at the front desk to ensure the correct items are given to the correct person.

Upcoming Supply Closet Hours:
The Student Care Supply Closet pick-ups are offered during business hours (M-F 8:30am-5pm). Once you have received a confirmation email, you will be able to sign- up for a pick-up based on staff availability. Please know we are closed during university holidays and campus closures.
