Mission

The Student Conduct and Community Standards Office supports the educational goals of the University of Massachusetts Amherst by:

  • Educating the university community on the Code of Student Conduct (Code)
  • Upholding the Code
  • Engaging students in conversations that promote reflection, accountability, and growth
  • Identifying and connecting students to campus and community resources

Report an Incident

Any individual member of the University community may report an incident when an alleged violation of the Code of Student Conduct has occurred. A report should be submitted as soon after the incident as possible to ensure an accurate recollection, as well as a prompt response. All reported incidents will be reviewed to determine if a violation of the Code of Student Conduct allegedly occurred. If so, the case is assigned to a staff member for resolution.
