Maura S. Roberts

I have worked in higher education for over a decade in various capacities. I have had experience working in both public and private institutions and in areas including planning and institutional research, sorority and fraternity life, and student parent programs. Growing up in a college town (Amherst!), I have always been fascinated by the push and pull of town gown relations. In my current role, I have been able to blend my passion for education and policy work and find joy working directly with students, particularly those that find a home in the Off Campus Student Center.

Prior to my work in Off Campus Student life, I earned a BA from Smith College, a MPPA and M. Ed from UMass Amherst, and I worked at Brandeis University for four years in the planning and institutional research department.

Alleigh Maguire

After earning my BS in Nutrition from the University of Cincinnati, I moved to Western Mass and began my career with UMass as a SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator! I got to provide nutrition education to countless community members all over Worcester County at various locations, including schools, senior centers, farmers markets, and food pantries.  I am passionate about being in academic-centered environments, as well as increasing resource access to members of my community. I am ecstatic to continue my career in higher education providing support for Off Campus Student Life! I lived off campus for the duration of my undergrad experience; I know firsthand what challenges off-campus students face, and I look forward to helping students with whatever they may be dealing with! 

Outside of the office, you can find me...outside! Most likely on the water in a kayak, in the water with a fishing rod, on a mountaintop, in a tent, or on skis/skates during the colder months. Come say hello!
