UWW-IS Open House January 31
If you’re a new student who lives close enough to attend, we hope you can join us for the UWW Interdisciplinary Studies Open House! Held within the first week of classes on Saturday, January 31 from 2 to 4 p.m., this event will give you the opportunity to connect in person with your academic advisor, fellow students, and faculty, including time to socialize and time to talk about the degree planning process.
Snacks and drinks will be provided, and the event will be held in the University Without Walls building at 350 Campus Center Way in Amherst, Massachusetts. In addition to new students taking the degree planning course, current students taking the portfolio writing course will be there. If we need to postpone due to winter weather, the snow date will be Saturday, February 7 from 2 to 4 p.m.
This event is not a replacement for new student orientation, which is required for new students.
So that we can plan appropriately, please let us know if you’ll be attending. You can park in the nearby Campus Parking Garage and we’ll pay for your parking, or if you need accessible parking, there are a few spaces right in front of our building. If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility, food, parking, and more, please email me. We look forward to seeing you there!
Best,
Jonah H. Carlson
