The UMass Amherst Henry M. Thomas III Center at Springfield is proud to host the Springfield Puerto Rican Parade Honoree Kickoff Celebration for the second consecutive year. We are delighted to welcome members of the UMass community and the greater Springfield community to join us as we officially kick off the 2026 parade season.

This special event recognizes and celebrates this year’s honorees while highlighting the rich history, traditions, and contributions of Puerto Rican culture in our community. It is an opportunity to come together in a spirit of unity, pride, and celebration as we honor individuals whose leadership and service have made a lasting impact.

We invite faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners to join us for an evening of connection, recognition, and cultural celebration. Together, let us celebrate the achievements of this year’s honorees and the vibrant Puerto Rican heritage that continues to enrich our region.
