The Center at Springfield offers high-demand academic programs. These programs produce qualified candidates for jobs that are available in Springfield and throughout the region. This is not coincidental. We are purposeful in the programs we offer. Those with undergraduate degrees are able to enroll in programs to become licensed teachers and nurses. Those who have certificates are able to earn undergraduate degrees. We also help first-time students find their way into college and along the way toward their goals.
Making a Difference
UMass Amherst is in Springfield because we, too, care about the city. Springfield provides real value to UMass students who come to the city for practical real world experiences. We, in turn, provide the opportunity for Springfield’s residents to access a major research university
