Joan Giovannini
I believe that teaching is most powerful when it’s both reflective and collaborative. I love partnering with faculty to design courses that are not only grounded in strong pedagogy but also responsive to the diverse needs of today’s students. My work is shaped by ongoing research in the learning sciences, open educational practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), educational technology and active learning strategies. At the heart of my approach is a commitment to creating humanized, equitable learning environments—spaces where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
