Get Involved
Teaching with Open Educational Resources (OER) introduces the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate OER into your teaching practice. By the end of this course, you will be equipped to make informed decisions about using, adapting, and creating open resources that enhance student learning and promote educational equity.
Selected faculty will work 1:1 with our Animation Specialist to shape your idea, write a script, and film it—then we’ll handle the animation. Your video will become an Open Educational Resources (OER) that anyone at UMass or beyond can utilize. UMass is building a collection of great, repurposable teaching materials and we want yours to be part of it. Whether your lesson topic stems from your own cutting edge research or is a basic 101 explainer, please consider submitting an application.
The Summit is a virtual event for new and experienced Open Education Resource advocates offering the opportunity to learn and share effective practices in awareness building, implementation, collaboration, strategy, and research.
