Faculty Spotlight showcases UMass Amherst faculty members' innovative teaching practices. The Spotlight shares and celebrates instructors’ insights, strategies, and experiences with leveraging technology in the classroom.
Instructional Innovation Fellowship (IIF)
The Instructional Innovation Fellowship (IIF) supports UMass instructors across disciplines who are currently engaging in creative teaching practices to share their ideas with and learn from other UMass instructors.
Instructional Video Creators Network
The Instructional Video Creators Network (IVCN) is a semester-long community of practice that helps UMass instructors, TAs, and TOs improve their video production skills through peer collaboration, hands-on practice, and expert guidance from the IDEAS team. Participants will learn techniques for creating clear, engaging, and accessible instructional videos while building a supportive network of video advocates across campus.
Open Education Practices Collaborative
The Open Educational Practices Collaborative is a group effort between IDEAS and the University Libraries which provides opportunities to share strategies, spark innovation, and build awareness around open practices - including creative commons and openly licensed technologies.
