Courses

The courses listed below are the officially CESL designated "Service-Learning" (SL) and "Civic Engagement" (CE) courses (use the interface on the left side of the listing to search for “SL” or “CE” courses and for specific semesters).

“Service-Learning (SL)” courses incorporate extensive community engagement, student reflection, and learning objectives that link community-defined goals and course content.

“Community Engagement (CE)” courses incorporate occasional community partner in-class presentations and/or field trips to partner sites, occasional student reflection, and learning objectives that link community-defined goals and course content.

All our designated courses can count towards our "Civic Engagement & Public Service" (CEPS) certificate. Visit the CEPS Program page for more information and for other courses that count towards the certificate.
