This symposium explores how engagement infrastructure and policies in higher education can better support our community-based research, teaching, and outreach. 

Participants will also learn about new and existing practices across the five colleges for transformational campus-community partnerships.

Lunch will be provided and there will be a cash-bar reception from 4:00 to 5:00pm

Keynote speakers: 

  • Dr. Kwesi Brookins, Vice Provost for University Outreach and Engagement, Michigan State University 

  • Dr. Tania Mitchell (UMass Amherst graduate), Associate Provost for Community Engagement, University of Maryland-College Park
