Come Find Your Place at UMass

Come talk with faculty and current students about majors and minors, and pathways to certificates, graduate programs, and more. Ask the questions you have not been able to ask an advisor yet. This is part of the CNS Majors Fair, and it is open to the whole network.

Keep going after your bachelor’s

Graduate pathways, including professional master’s programs and dual degrees, carry these majors further. Some lean more technical and scientific, others more toward policy or design. UMass is home to a premier workforce training degree, the Sustainability Science master’s program. It reflects the shared learning outcomes across the disciplines and is an important driver of the green regional workforce, with an 86 percent employment rate in the sustainability field. Every one of these programs addresses our seven sustainability learning outcomes, pairing adaptive workforce training, scientific training, and climate literacy with the professional skills employers are asking for now, including systems thinking, data literacy, and hands-on project experience that outlasts a single course. Learn more about SES literacy and learning pathways and about our academic programs for undergraduates and advanced training candidates.
