Connecting our pan-campus sustainability community.
SES Connects is the School of Earth & Sustainability's pan-campus engagement platform for our community and broader network. Together, SES Connects supports a full year of programming with community building, impacts, and strategy in mind. Instead of a set of separate events that each require their own outreach, it is a single front door into sustainability engagement at UMass Amherst.
The program brings together academic, community-based, and scholarly programming, including a new Welcome Back Event, the Sustainability Clubs Spotlight, the weekly Farmers Market, the Sustainability Majors Fair, the Sustainability Career Fair, the Earth Day Extravaganza, semesterly Student Showcases, and the monthly Connector Series, coordinated by SES with a shared calendar and engagement strategy.
SES departments, programs and its faculty and students receive regular communications to keep our community engaged. For faculty and students outside of SES department and programs, you join our SES network as an individual affiliate (learn more here) and encourage your program and department leaders to join as members to SES with a commitment to our network's shared mission.
