Admissions: Online Master of Science in Nursing Program

Admission Requirements

Each applicant must:

  • Hold a baccalaureate or master's degree in nursing, or an associate degree in nursing and a non-nursing baccalaureate degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Hold a current nursing license. 

Application Process

The application deadline for admission to the fall semester is December 15. However, rolling admissions will continue until the admission cap is reached. Students are strongly encouraged to submit their applications by December 15.

Apply to the Master of Science in Nursing program through the Graduate School.

Applicants must provide:

  • Completed Graduate Application (online)
  • All official transcripts
  • Two letters of reference
  • CV/Resume
  • Goals statement

Estimated Costs

Cost per credit = $825
Registration fee per semester = $85

Note: costs are subject to change.

Out-of-state students: State and federal laws require colleges and universities to be authorized to offer online degree programs in states other than their own. We currently have some restrictions in Alabama, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, and Washington. If you live in one of these states, please check with us to ask about the current status of our authorization in these states.

Online Master of Science in Nursing Education (MSNE)

Online MS in Nursing Education prepares registered nurses to develop and deliver curriculum to nursing students and to provide direct care patient education.

Online Master of Science in Public Health Nursing (MS-PHN)

The MS-PHN prepares students to apply clinical nursing expertise and population health skills in leadership positions in public and community health settings.
