Winter campus scene

As winter approaches, all students, faculty and staff should know how to obtain information related to severe weather, including announcements and parking rules. Faculty and staff should also be aware of staggered departure procedures and related time and attendance policies.

  • Employees designated as essential personnel will be required to report to work. Your supervisor is responsible for informing you if your position has been designated as essential for this purpose.
  • Scheduled in-person classes will not take place on the physical campus, at the discretion of the instructor, an in-person class may be transitioned to a remote class. Instructors should inform their students via email and messaging on Canvas for each class.
  • Remote classes will be held as usual. In the rare cases where the remote class is ordinarily taught from an on-campus location, and lack of access to that location requires cancellation of class, the instructor should inform their students of the cancellation via email or messaging on Canvas for each such class.

Closing designation in effect from 5am until midnight unless campus officially changes the status on same day.
