Program Duration: Total of 10 medical encounters 15 students in each session - 2 sessions per week Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:00 AM – 1:30 PM)

All proposed Dates: February 3, 5, 10, 12, 24, 26
Program Overview: This program introduces Springfield high school students to healthcare professions and real-world medical experiences while developing STEM, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Students will gain hands-on exposure to medical simulations, nutrition education, and career exploration, along with information sessions on college access, financial aid, and career pathways.
Program Goals
- Develop students’ understanding of human health and disease prevention.
- Introduce students to healthcare and health science career pathways.
- Strengthen college readiness by providing guidance on admissions, financial aid, and early college opportunities.
- Cultivate interest in STEM and healthcare fields aligned with the regional workforce needs.
