Community Archiving Day
Content
Saturday, May 2, 3:30-6:00, UMass Amherst Henry M. Thomas III Center in Springfield
with Stephen Cary, Iohann Vega, Evan Goodchild, and Cha Lor
What stories from your community, family, or individual life do you want to see represented and preserved? Bring a photo, artifact, or person to talk with to the Center and we will record your story either by video or audio only. You will then have the option to include your story in the small, digital archives from the semester series “In These Times: Documenting Stories through Our Own Lenses.” All participants will be provided with a link to the digital archives which will be housed on HistoryPin and participants will always have the option to remove their story at any time.
Sponsored by University Without Walls: Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, UMass Amherst and the UMass Amherst Henry M. Thomas III Center at Springfield along with our Co-Sponsors and Collaborators:
