Cynthia Jacelon and Lucinda Canty Receive American Nurses Association Masscahusetts Awards

We are pleased to announce that two Elaine Marieb College of Nursing faculty have received awards from the American Nurses Association Massachusetts, Inc.
Cynthia Jacelon
Professor Emerita Cynthia Jacelon, PhD, RN-BC, CRRN, FGSA, FAAN has been awarded ANA Massachusetts' 2025 "Living Legend in Massachusetts Nursing Award." The ANA Massachusetts Living Legend Award honors nurses who have achieved exceptional contributions to the nursing profession at state, national, or global levels. It recognizes individuals whose work has inspired others, demonstrated creativity, and pioneered innovative practices, paving the way for future generations of nurses.
Professor Jacelon and four others will be honored publicly for this award at the 2025 ANAMASS Awards and FNAMA Scholarship Gala on Friday, April 4, 2025 in Framingham, Mass.
Lucinda Canty
Dr. Lucinda Canty has been honored with the 2025 ANA Massachusetts Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award. The ANAMASS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advancement in Nursing Award recognizes a Massachusetts nurse for contributions to championing and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in their work environment and within the profession.
Dr. Canty will also be honored at the 2025 ANAMASS Awards and FNAMA Scholarship Gala on Friday, April 4, 2025 in Framingham, Mass.
