EMCON alum Cidália Vital has received the 2025 Distinguished Community Partner Award for her team's innovative nursing research and collaboration. 

Shaely Lora, Hannah Durowaa Odei-Opoku, and Brittany Acloque all received scholarships from the Western Massachusetts Black Nurses Association (WMBNA).

Dr. Kalpana Poudel-Tandukar has received a 2024-2025 Faculty Distinguished Teaching Award from the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).

EMCON's Dr. Gabrielle Abelard, graduate program director and clinical associate professor, has been honored with a 2025 APNA Award.

Professor Kalpana Poudel-Tandukar has received the Chancellor’s Medal, the highest recognition bestowed upon faculty by the campus.

EMCON Ph.D. Program Director Rae K. Walker and Frank Sup, co-director of the Elaine Marieb Center for Nursing and Engineering Innovation, received awards.

A team from the Elaine Marieb Center for Nursing and Engineering Innovation has received a 2025 ANA Innovation Award for their IV smart pump design.

EMCON's Dr. Gabrielle Abelard has been selected for induction as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP).

Dr. Lucinda Canty received the Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award from the University of Connecticut, her alma mater, on February 19, 2025. 

Two EMCON faculty members recently received awards from the Massachusetts American Nurses Association.
