Explore career opportunities while gaining valuable experience for the job market.
Civic Engagement & Service Learning (CESL) promotes learning for lifelong, democratic engagement, partnering with communities on and off campus to work collectively for a more just society. Linking Employment to Academic Development (LEAD) programs prepare students for careers by combining semester-long internships with coursework.
This program includes a CESL Foundations Course (SBDU Gen-Ed), a six-credit internship with a non-profit employer in Greater Boston, and the opportunity to take online courses at no additional cost.
