We believe that everyone is a writer and all writers bring valuable literacy backgrounds to their writing. We seek to create a culture of writing across campus where all faculty, students, and staff respect past writing knowledge and extend it to new situations. We are located in the W. E. B. Du Bois Library.

Hours

The Writing Center is closed over winter break. We will reopen February 10, 2025

Sundays: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Mondays: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Tuesdays: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Wednesdays: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Thursdays: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Fridays: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Saturdays: CLOSED

Our one-on-one sessions with writers begin on the hour, and last 45 minutes. For Fall 2024, the Writing Center will offer both in-person and synchronous, online appointments.

Due to space constraints at the Writing Center, face-to-face appointments may need to be moved online. Please follow the instructions provided in your confirmation email for accessing your online appointment.
