ABOUT
Femi Afolabi is a sociologist with thematic interest in Labour Relations, Race and Ethnic Relations, Social Inequality and Intergroup Relations. Specifically, he aims to interrogate how race mediates the behaviour of social institutions, focusing on the experience of racial minorities within those institutions. He is interested in how “non-race-coloured” labour unionism can strengthen the shared political and socio-economic interests of all workers, especially those in precarious work.
