Dr. Lisa Duffy, joint associate professor for the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing (EMCON) and the Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS), will be inducted into the American Academy of Nursing (AAN) this year. This year's class of fellows marks the organization's largest cohort to date, representing 42 states and 12 countries. Duffy and her fellow inductees "will be recognized for their substantial contributions to health and healthcare at the AAN's annual health policy conference later this fall in Washington, D.C.," according to AAN's official announcement.

Dr. Duffy runs Duffy Digital Health Lab, leading a research team focusing on improving how healthcare professionals use digital health to provide care for patients and their families. She is also a pediatric nurse practitioner who has worked with chronically ill children, adolescents, young adults, and their families at Boston Children’s Hospital for over 20 years.
