"Being named an AANP Fellow is a privilege, and I am grateful for the support, mentorship, and collaboration that have shaped my journey."

— Gabrielle Abelard

According to the organization, which was established in 2000, "the AANP Fellows program is dedicated to the global advancement of NPs and the high-quality healthcare they provide. FAANP members are expected to actively contribute their expertise as reviewers, topical experts, committee members, journal contributors, mentors and more as volunteers of AANP, our professional organization. Together, we strive to support AANP’s mission and the FAANP program in developing future NP leaders and advancing the NP role."

Dr. Abelard and her fellow inductees will be honored at the 2025 FAANP Induction Ceremony & Reception, which will be held during the AANP National Conference in San Diego on Thursday, June 19 at 6 p.m. in the San Diego Convention Center.
