Alumni Mentorship

Nurses Supporting Students in Their Journey to Nursing

The Alumni Board Mentorship Committee welcomes all EMCON alumni to participate in mentorship opportunities. Whether you are guiding students through the clinical placement process or helping a fellow colleague prepare for a continuing education requirement, your time and experience are a valuable asset.

The Mentorship Committee aims to bridge the gap between student nursing education and the first years of professional practice by engaging alumni with students to help foster professional relationships between students and alumni. Through mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities, our goal is to build a UMass family that empowers the future of nursing.

Benefits of Mentorship:

  • Prepare the next generation of nurses
  • Support the professional growth of colleagues
  • Build your leadership skills
  • Be an active part of the UMass nursing community
