Make a tangible impact on our students and College while collaborating and networking with fellow nursing alumni.
The UMass Amherst Elaine Marieb College of Nursing Alumni Board is led by dedicated board members who work to advance and support alumni, students, and the College. All alumni are welcome to join the board and attend virtual meetings. We meet four times a year, three times virtually in September, November, March; and have an in-person gathering in June.
Mission Statement: To foster a supportive, engaged alumni community that champions the mission of EMCON and contributes to its sustainable growth.
What can you expect when you join the alumni board?
- A dedicated group of alumni spanning multiple decades and programs from the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing
- Opportunities for work on committees including student mentorship, events, communications, and oral history.
- Strategy updates and Q&A with Dean Allison Vorderstrasse
- Interact with faculty and students at the college to get a personal view and perspective
