Meet Ahnaf Shahriar Hoque, a UMass Amherst student pursuing a dual degree in Accounting and Managerial Economics.

Ahnaf's summer internship was at Deloitte’s Boston office within the Tax Consulting team. His tasks ranged from shadowing leaders and consulting with the audit group to diving into simulations on tax implications.

At Deloitte, Ahnaf thrived in a supportive and relaxed environment with good management. The internship aligned seamlessly with his goals, and he's now focused on returning to Deloitte in a full-time role.

Residing on the Mount Ida Campus this summer streamlined Ahnaf's experience, provided an easy commute, and allowed him to immerse fully in his internship.

His advice to future interns: “Step out of your comfort zone, dress professionally, and represent yourself with confidence. Small things make a big impact.”
