Geographic Information Science and Technology

Knowledge, skills, and practice in Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIS/GIST) are in high demand in diverse fields of work, research, and service. Courses in this program are designed to provide a solid foundation in the realm of geospatial technologies. With instruction in cutting-edge topics in GIS—like WebGIS, GIS Programming, Spatial Databases, and others—students will engage with the frontiers of GIS. Courses may be taken stand-alone, or applied toward the MS Geography - GIST.
