Kirsten Bergstrom

Kirsten Bergstrom, Director of Health Services, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Kirsten received her Master’s in Nursing from Boston College and her Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Kirsten began her career in College Health at Mount Ida College in 2000 as a Nurse Practitioner and spent several years practicing at Lasell College. She returned to Mount Ida in 2013 as the Assistant Director for Wellness Services. Since 2007 Kirsten has spent her summers as a leader in camp nursing at several local day camps. Kirsten has over 18 years of experience working closely with children, students, and young adults.

She currently provides general and urgent health care to individual students. supervises clinic-based services, develops and implements services meeting students’ health care needs and resources. She also assists with the development, implementation, and assessment of preventive programs on campus.
