Biography

I've learned so much while studying anthropology including: how to connect with people on a deeper level, research methods, analytical, technical, and academic writing, and presenting skills.

While at UMass, my focus has been learning about archaeology and natural resource conservation. I've been a member of Anthro Club since my freshman year and am now the president, with my main goal being creating events that bring anthropology students together. I interned and was a TA in the UMass archaeological curation center for two and a half years, where I helped organize and preserve the collection. Additionally, I also learned a great deal about bioarchaeology and anatomy during my one year in the Holt Lab.
