Professional Biography
Trained in the Austin school of African Diaspora Studies, I’m a cultural anthropologist interested in the racial politics of education, critical race theory, intersectionality and cultural studies of science. I’m also researching the politics of genealogies, both in terms of “worlding anthropologies” as well as raising the visibility of Black and Third World feminist contributions to anthropology.
