Paying your UMass Amherst Bill
The Bursar's Office will bill you for tuition, room and board, and all mandatory fees. The fall payment due date is usually the beginning of August and the spring payment due date is usually the beginning of January. You must pay in full by the due date or a late fee will be assessed.
You have several options for paying your bill. Visit the Bursar’s Office Web site for full details on billing and payments.
Interest-Free Monthly Payment Option
UMass Amherst also offers undergraduate students the option to pay their bills through an interest-free monthly payment option. Instead of the usual large payment due at the beginning of each semester, you may budget all or a portion of tuition, fees, and room-and-board expenses in monthly payments.
Visit the section on Alternative Financing for complete information on applying for this plan.
