Paula Boylan: BS/2005
She/Her
Paula Boylan comes to the Alumni Board as an alumna, a nurse entrepreneur, and — by temperament — a builder. She believes that an alumni community can be a source of lasting value across a nurse's whole career, from the student years through every chapter that follows.
Her path has taken an unconventional route: from eleven years in corporate finance and project management to a decade at the bedside in acute and critical care, followed by fifteen years leading nursing turnarounds across hospitals large and small. In 2022, she founded Expertly Done, a healthcare operations firm whose institute develops clinical and non-clinical leaders.
As a member of the board, Paula helps shape the alumni website and contribute to strategic planning.
She also serves in her community as a volunteer outreach RN for people experiencing homelessness and at a local food bank.
